'General Options' determine how SAM Virus Clinic works on your Macintosh. You can select which buttons appear in the main window, what conditions clear the Results Window, and which volumes are selected when you start SAM Virus Clinic.
'Buttons Displayed in Main Window' determines which control buttons are displayed in the main window to the left of the Results Window. You can select five of ten possible buttons.
Determine whether a button is displayed in the main window by clicking in its check box. You can select five of ten possible buttons. The selected buttons appear in the main window. (Scan cannot be turned off.)
'Autoshrink window when in background' can be turned on or off. When this option is on and you are running Virus Clinic in the background under MultiFinder, the main Virus Clinic window shrinks so that only the progress gauge is visible.
Choose a creator from this menu. This creator is used when the contents of the Results Window are saved as a text file. Or, type your own creator.
'Export file creator' determines which creator is used when the contents of the Results Window are saved as a text file.
'Clear display list' lets you decide under what conditions the contents of the Results Window are cleared.
'At start, preselect' determines which volumes are selected in the Mounted Volumes Area when you start SAM Virus Clinic.
Click Cancel to remove any changes you made during this session in the General Options and close the dialog box.
Click OK to save all changes you made in the General Options dialog box for this session only.
Click Save Defaults to permanently save all changes you made in the General Options dialog box.
